--Description--
Antiqued brown holster
Etched brass plate
Right handed
Full sized replica engraved army .45 revolver

-Holster-
The holster is made from 8-9oz veg tan leather and finished with antiqued brown dye. The holster is a 1 piece design that is folded over in 2 places (once along the barrel to make the holster, and once at the top, making the backing loop) like many holster designs from the "wild west". This style uses a 1 buckle and strap design to hold the backing loop down. It come with a leather lace which ties around the leg to keep the holster from "flopping around" while walking if desired. This design will make the guns handle just above the belt. It can be work on gun belts (available on my retail website) for a low slung, gunfighter look. I have also added to belt loops slots at an angle on the back to allow it to be worn as a cross draw holster on a standard 1 1/2" belt as an option. Holster is design for a right handed draw. This special edition holster has an etched brass plate on the front with a scroll work design based on engravings of the era. The etching was hand drawn by me, and transferred to the brass plate using an electrochemical etch.

-Colt .45 Army Revolver (ENGRAVED) -
Black and gold with detailed engraving and wood grips. It's overall length is 9 1/2" and comes with the short barreled holster. The Single-Action Army Revolver was produced in several forms and many calibers from 1872 to 1940, with production totaling about 350,000 pieces. As its introduction coincided with the settlement of the Wild West, the names Peacemaker and Frontier Six-Shooter were popularized. Although most were produced for the military, some civilian versions were beautifully engraved at the factory. This non-firing version replicates a gold-inlaid piece and has a functional lock mechanism, with a revolving cylinder and working ejector system.
